Our website has always been acknowledged for being very professional, for defending Islam and our beloved home country of Somalia. We usually and consistently write a highly quality articles and editorial pages, we also produced and present video and audio relevant to present day of Somali situation both inside and outside Somalia. Like any other international media, we have the right to write our views about Somalis complicated situation. We believe that our country was invaded by Ethiopia, Uganda, Burundi, Kenya, Djibouti, Seri León and these invasions we’re engineered and financed by Western Countries.

A Native Prospector (a Tin Tank ) in Virginia has published a long report about Somalimidnimo at the end of May 2012. The report was riddled with misinformation, it was unfair, and it was a manipulative trying to convince us what they believe. We are shocked and dismayed that their research repeated several times and blamed us that we disagree with the TFG, semi-autonomous regions of Somali-land and Puntland, AMISOM, Ethiopia, and Kenya .
They have also criticized us that we disagreed with Al-Itisam. Their research indicated that they don’t know anything about us at all. In the past, we have indeed announced to the world through National Public Radio that we were against all the groups they have mentioned. At the NPR we have debated Al-itisaam supporters in Minnesota. We have also denounced the invasion of others into our country.
One of Somalimidnimo’s editors Abdiwali Warsame at the debate made a historical comment that was made bold by NPR, he said,“We are against foreign troops still, and we will never change our mind until
they get out of our country- Abdiwali Warsame read more ”.
It is very clear that the research was not well thought of, and according to what we read they are very ignorant of the Somali situation. As far as their research is concerned, they have contracted individuals identified by their clan currently living in Garowe, Puntland., Mogadishu Somalia and Minnesota. USA. It is very clear, that these people support TFG, AMISOM and Puntland. It is very saddening both their research participant and its authors to force us into accepting on matters we respectively disagree. Their research fails short, because we publicly declare our views openly, and is known to everyone that we are against the occupation and the mercenaries AMISOM.
FINALLY
Finally, one of our editors of Somalimidnimo.com Abdiwali Warsame’ personal safety and security has been threatened and compromised. His name, address, phone number and business affiliates has been published by the research. The research and participants of the research are responsible if any personal harm comes to our editor for his views from un-educated people who support the TFG, the people of Somaliland and Puntland. Moreover, if he is harmed for his color, race or faith by hate crimes. BLUF
Somalimidnimo.com is one of the most popular pro-al-Shabaab (AS) websites according to its AlexaTraffic rankings. The website blends extremist religious ideology with nationalist sentiment in anattempt to gain Somali and foreign support for AS and its activities. Somalimidnimo.com content consists largely of religious teachings and articles that support AS and its ideology, though it also provides information on other international jihadist groups as well.
USG OPPORTUNITIES
Monitor Somalimidnimo.com content, particularly editorials with user comments, to identify potential Military Information Support Operations (MISO) messaging campaign opportunities. Through MISO campaigns targeted at Somali audiences worldwide, emphasize the following ideological views expressed by Somalimidnimo.com users who demonstrated opposition to AS activities.
. Use of violence in support of jihad is unnecessary.
. Peaceful means of conflict resolution are a legitimate way to achieve political goals.

While the one user agreed with the author, the other disagreed that violence was necessary in the context of jihad demonstrating preference for apeaceful means of resolution. To advance AS’s cause and expand its support worldwide, the website often reports on the activities of Islamist movements outside of Somaliaand attempts to link AS’s struggles with those of other foreign extremist groups (see website clip to the right discussing Ansar al-Din in Mali).
